ABOUT US

Our Story.

GenEarth (formerly Volunteers for Future) is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to empowering young people to drive positive change in conservation, climate action, and animal welfare.

Born out of the global climate strikes, we responded to the call from students demanding climate and sustainability education. Yet, many teachers lack the knowledge, time and resources to incorporate these topics into lesson plans—while growing climate anxiety schools and families unsure how to approach the topic.

We bridge that gap. Partnering with leading environmental and conservation organisations, we deliver free, engaging, expert-led workshops and programmes in schools to inform, inspire and equip the next generation to take collective action.

Our Aims.

  • To provide young people with a voice and the opportunity to take collective action for climate and nature

  • To inform, inspire and enable young people to design and create innovative solutions to the climate crisis

  • To be responsive, relevant and adaptable to an ever changing political, social and environmental context

  • To act as a connector - bringing together industry experts, climate and conservation leaders and schools to support young people as one eco-system
