Equipping the next generation of changemakers

Through our action-led programmes, delivered in schools and community settings, we equip young people with the knowledge, critical thinking skills and practical tools to make sense of the climate crisis and act.

What drives us

Our mission is to equip the generation inheriting the climate crisis with the tools to build a future where people and nature can thrive together.

Young people are staring down the realities of a crisis they did not create.

Teachers want to help. Schools want to respond. But many lack the time, training, curriculum space and practical frameworks to do so confidently and effectively. GenEarth exists to bridge that gap.

We provide young people with the knowledge, critical thinking skills and practical tools to make sense of the climate crisis, question the systems behind it, challenge misinformation, and take action in ways that feel relevant and achievable to them.

We’ve engaged over 40,000 young people so far and we’re just getting started…

We do not assume a starting point. When confronting the climate crisis young people may feel urgency, anxiety, scepticism or ambivalence. Our programmes meet them wherever they are, building knowledge, strengthening critical thinking and providing them with a genuine sense of agency to take action in their schools, communities and beyond.

Our Approach

We don’t tell young people what to think or how to respond.

We build the capacity to think critically and trust them to do the rest. Our programme themes are chosen deliberately, designed around the issues that intersect most directly with the climate crisis and the realities they’re already navigating. Learn more about our approach

Our Programmes

Our work is entirely rooted in systems thinking.

We start by helping young people understand how climate, social justice, nature depletion, overconsumption and animal welfare are connected, and the structures that sit behind them. Not looking at these issues in isolation, but understanding how they shape and reinforce each other. More about our approach
